ELLA HARPAZ-JORALEMON

I'm Ella (she/her), a director and writer currently based in the Boston area, Massachussets. I have worked extensively in theatre and film and have a keen interest in re-imagining ancient stories, mythologies and folklore in modern formats.

I am the founder and artistic director of Lotophagi Theatre Company, which is committed to making ancient theatre more accessible to all audiences. Its debut production as a company was Pentheus, an adaptation of Euripides’ Bacchae, performed this summer as part of the Camden Fringe 2025. I am also an associate of ShyGirl Productions, which focusses on creating female led media. You can check out my previous projects on this website!
